The leather hinges are split but still held by the library type strengthened cloth gutters internally - except the rear cover of volume 1 which is detached together with the last few pages. Gilt titling and decoration to spine. Marbled end-papers. Offered 'as is' either for repair, a reference copy, or for its colour plates. Undated but probably 1930s.
