In this episode, when The Boston Boppers television show holds a reunion and dance contest, Carla (Rhea Perlman) and her ex-husband Nick (Dan Hedaya), who were the best dancers on the show as teenagers, decide to compete. After a fight over who is the better dancer, Nick decides to take his current wife Loretta (Jean Kasem), and Sam (Ted Danson) surprises Carla by revealing he and Diane (Shelley Long) took ballroom dance lessons and is quite good.
