Clean and tightly bound in brown cloth with gilded spine titles. Light wear to spine head and small stain to top text block, otherwise near fine. The contents include numerous illustrations of technical instruments and charts. This copy is from a 19th Century private lending institution, the Mercantile Library of New York City. There is a handwritten number and Mercantile Library stamp on the title page and some of the internal pages. There are no other indications of the library's ownership.
