The 135 watercolours featured 'in this volume are a chronological survey of Norman Lindsay's work in the medium from 1897 when he was eighteen years old to 1969 when he died at the age of ninety. Where my research has found other works relating in any way to the 135 featured watercolours . they have also been reproduced, and in some cases works in other media with the same title but unrelated to the watercolour have been reproduced for clarification purposes. There are over 160 watercolours in all and over 120 works in other media' (Author's Notes). 'This De Luxe Edition, limited to 550 signed and numbered copies of which 500 are for sale, contains a photograph of the watercolour "The Presentation"'; this is copy number 104, signed by Lin Bloomfield.
