Signed on the verso: "Barbara 'Bobbie' Liebrich". Liebrich is picture full length in her baseball uniform and hat, with the logo of the "Springfield Sallie's" on the chest, posed with h…er hands behind her back, in what looks like the parking lot of a department store. Liebrich was a player, manager, and chaperone in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. While she played sparingly, for the Rockford Peaches and the Kenosha Comets, she joined the Sallies in 1948 as a chaperone and became the player-manager in 1949. Curiously, she made the All-Star team in 1954, as a chaperone. Signed, mostly much later, photographs of the League-members appear on the market, signed vintage snapshots are uncommon.
