Histoires de trains, de la Compagnie de l'Est…, à la SNCF en passant par l'E.L. puis par le réseau Alsace-Lorraine. --- Dernière ligne de la Compagnie de l'Est construite avant la guerre de 1870 et l'annexion de l'Alsace et de la Moselle, et embryon de la ligne qui devait relier Guebwiller à Belfort, le chemin de fer de la vallée du Florival (Haut-Rhin) a traversé les siècles en changeant plusieurs fois de nationalité et en passant sous le contrôle des réseaux Elsass-Lothringen, puis Alsace-Lorraine avant d'intégrer la SNCF. Ce livre retrace son histoire, représentative des lignes secondaires d'Alsace en l'abordant du côté humain. Au-delà du matériel ferroviaire caractéristique, des infrastructures et des gares de la ligne abordés en détails, les auteurs ont voulu également présenter les témoignages de ceux qui y ont travaillé, l'ont empruntée ou ont simplement regardé et photographié les trains et les gares. Sa production s'inscrit alors pleinement dans l'air du temps, dans le style neo-classique, et avec des modeles calques sur ceux des manufactures parisiennes. Au niveau de la m…atiere elle-meme, Nyon peut rivaliser en finesse avec la blancheur des porcelaines francaises grace a un approvisionnement en kaolin livre directement de Limoges. La qualite de la ceramique est soulignee par son decor qui laisse le centre de l'objet libre de tout motif afin de souligner la blancheur transparente de la matiere autant que l'absence de defauts de cuisson. La manufacture de porcelaine de Nyon saura s'adapter a sa clientele, composee tant de notables et de patriciens locaux que de bourgeois bernois, vaudois et genevois. Ce type de clientele, denue du soutien d'une Cour, aura raison d'elle en 1813. En effet, les tourmentes revolutionnaires puis les guerres napoleoniennes entraineront la disparition de cette industrie couteuse et aux rendements aleatoires. Le batiment lui-meme, pourtant, reste en activite. A la manufacture de porcelaine succede une faiencerie qui demeure jusqu'en 1979, perpetuant ainsi les motifs dits ?« Vieux Nyon ?». Therefore, we talk about crossing games, referring to those that went, those that came, and all the cultural exchanges to which they gave rise.
