Features fourteen vignettes of various points of interest, and eight insets showing town plans of Coila, White Hall, Cambridge, North White Creek, Union Village, Fort Edward, Sandy Hill, and Granville. In good condition. Wear along original folds, repair to loss at left margin below the title. Has two extra insets than the first 1853 version. Robert Pearsall Smith (1827-1898) was a printer and publisher based in Philadelphia. As one of the early advocates of lithography he produced more than 150 county maps and city plans. His large scale State maps are coveted for their beauty and design.
