The company, created by the Stewart brothers of Fairfield, Iowa, produced thousands of amateur productions across the Midwest between 1928 and 1934. They would hired a space for the production, sell advertising space around the theater, and employe local talent ensuring a good turnout for each show. By some estimate the company produced more than 3,000 shows during its final year. We could find no information on the author of these play but given the number of productions create by Universal Producing and the employment of local talent, we are not surprised.
