This fantastic children's picture 'ABC' book is a great example of fine woodblock printing execution by Frederic Lewin. Lewin was a frequent contributor to 'Punch' and this is one of two known works done by Lewin specifically for a youthful audience. Lewin's 'Characters from Dickens' appeared in 1912.
