Elegan…t Boston Public Library bookplate on front paste down, with small date stamp opposite. Endpapers appear to have old and inert damp stains, but no warping. Some moderate foxing throughout. Original blue covers bound in, a little worn, with a handwritten explanation of volume. The last leaf has some creasing. Text in French. Architecture, Rome.

Some small stains and library sticker inside front board. Gilt finish on top edge of pageblock. Contains b/w plates 232 to 354, all present. Plate numbers 250 and 258 detached but present. Each illustrated plate is protected by a tissue guard. Very occasional light foxing on the border of the illustrations, though the illustrations themselves are nice and clean. There is a slight ripple to the edge of some plates along the binding edge. The edges of most plates are age toned, particularly the top edge.
