Paris, Editions Stil, 2001. --------------------------------- The complete publication of Les Boréades, the final opera by Jean-Philippe Rameau, marks a significant milestone in the field of music publishing. As early as 1976well before the public resurgence of interest in Rameauthe STIL publishing house acquired the exclusive rights to this work from the Bibliothèque nationale de France, with the sole aim of bringing it to light.Driven by a desire to promote the work rather than by commercial ambitions, and produced without subsidies or patronage, this complete edition (full score, piano-vocal reduction, and individual parts) adheres to current musicological standards and modern engraving techniques.
