The edition features a frontispiece, an engraved title, an engraved epistle and 78 medal plates, each dated, titled and captioned, depicting the main events of Louis XV's reign from his accession in 1715 to the peace concluded at Aix La Chapelle in 1748. All plates are numbered and include a different engraved copper frame, featuring trophies, busts, escutcheons, musical instruments, etc.Lower cover missing, corners dulled, rubbed and a few spots of wear. Some foxing. L'édition comporte un frontispice, un titre gravé, une épître gravée et 78 planches de médaille, chacune datée, titrée et légendée ; l'ensemble représente les principaux événements du règne de Louis XV depuis son avènement en 1715 jusqu'à la paix conclue à Aix La Chapelle en 1748. Toutes les planches sont numérotées et comprennent un encadrement gravé sur cuivre différent, composé de trophées, bustes, écussons, instruments de musique, etc.Manques à la coiffe inférieure, coins émoussés, frottements et quelques épidermures. Rousseurs. Déchirure avec atteinte au cadre et manque angulaire à la planche de la médaille 24.
