Beige cloth covers with title, author and decorations on front board in black, red and blue colors. The covers are somewhat worn and stained- there is a water stain affecting the head of the spine, front gutter and a small portion of the rear board. On the front end page is what appears to be a previous owner's inscription written in Russian and a blue stamp in Cyrillic script. The contents are tight and clean . All-in-all, a nice copy. ; Table of contents and publishing information are in rear of book. The copyright information is in Russian- there are two dates 1970 and 1972, perhaps indicating that this is a second printing or edition. Including "Uncle Steeple," there are eleven poems, translated buy either G. Felgenhauer or D. Rottenberg. ; In text color illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 59, [5] p. pages.
