A Very Good copy in a Very Good dust jacket. Ownership signature of Serbian-American poet Charles Simic on front free endsheet. Simic, who won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 1990, was often compared to the Polish-American Milosz, and was certainly influenced by the Nobel laureate's work. Bookplate signed by Czeslaw Milosz, without inscription, is loosely laid in.
