In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Fair. No Jacket. None Stated. The 1911 yearbook for the University of Texas at Austin. The yearbook comes from a time when many figures prominent in Texas and UT history were present at the university. Among those listed are George Littlefield (Board of Regents), W H Stark (Board of Regents), Lutcher Stark (m…anager of the football team), S E Mezes (UT President); faculty members, many of whom later had buildings on the UT campus named after them, include W J Battle, T U Taylor, Judge John C Townes, W S Sutton, Helen Marr Kirby, Eugene C Barker, H Y Benedict, J W Calhoun, J A Lomax (the noted folklorist & father of Alan & John Lomax, Jr),H T Parlin, and D A Penick (father of noted golfing figure Harvey Penick) , The right spine hinge broken and with a number of flaps loose. The front board is detached but present. Small loss at the top of the spine. Foxing to the blank pages in the front and back. A 2.5" scrape on the front board with a couple of smaller spots below. Wear at the edges. A flawed but still collectible piece of UT history. book. A heavy, oversize book that will require additional postage. I have many more UT Cactus'. Inquire about dates & prices.
