In the original buff typographical dust jacket, printed in orange and navy with illustrations by Ralph Lavers: joints delicate, spine sunned, toned, chipped and nicked, losses to spine ends. Very good/ fair A robust copy of Grant's 1945 historical novel, like her others, apparently drawn from memories of her numerous past lives, and whose story belongs "to a much earlier epoch than is covered by the recorded history of the North American Indians".
