This memoir includes important military events that Sergeant Guillemard was a part of, including the Battle of Trafalgar, adventures in Corsica, and his return to France in 1822. Bound in full tree calf. Externally, a little worn, with the front board almost detached, held on by two cords only. Rear hinge has a small crack to the head. Rubbing to the joints and extremities. Small chip to spine label. Front endpaper and blank are a little strained. Otherwise, internally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, a touch age toned with the odd spot. Good Only.
