According to some scholars, these drawings, although few in number and little known, constitute an important and intensely personal segment of his oeuvre. Other scholars, however, doubt whether these drawings (all of which are certainly by the same hand) should in fact be attributed to Soutine. Introduction by Lanthemann. 19 full-page plates.
