Exterior shows corner and spine edge wear, cloth is also cracked in areas on the outside hinges. Small divot on bottom edge of front board, could be from a critter chewing. Interior hinges are good. Pale yellow end pages and front and rear. Front pastedown has previous owner's info written in pencil and opposite end page shows an 1858 gift inscription. Second front end page shows faint evidence where a price was once penciled in the upper corner. No other handwriting noted. Binding is tight, no torn or loose pages.
