Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Condition very good, but for the worn unclipped dust jacket and lightly tanned pages. Mid-brown cloth-covered boards with gilt decoration on front and gilt lettering on spine. Page tops coloured brown. There is a small print titled 'The Suicide' as frontispiece.
