Lowry, pp. 256, crown 8vo, original terracotta cloth, backstrip lettered in gilt, publisher device in blind to lower board, a few small spots to top corner of upper board, top edge terracotta, other edges toned with tail edge roughtrimmed, publisher's subscription card laid in, dustjacket with Lowry drawing to front panel, chipped and nicked at extremities with browned backstrip panel, short splits at ends of lower joint-fold, some light handling overall, good. A scarce book, notable for the drawings by L.S. Lowry - his only book-illustration work.…
