Chaudhuri, professor of anthropology, has worked among tribes of North-East India during last 25 years. During 20032005 he was in SOAS, United Kingdom, as a postdoctoral fellow and worked for a collaborative project with SOAS, British Museum, CCRD, and Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh. Huidrom Suraj Singh (M.Sc., Ph,.D.,) is Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology, Manipur University, Canchipur, Imphal.
