The copy is in very good and clean condition with no markings. -- (Excerpt:) Alecos Fassianos was born in Athens in 1935 next door to the Church of the Holy Apostles in Plaka. He graduated from the Athens School of Arts, a student of Yiannis Moralis, and subsequently studied in Paris with a grant from the French government. Since 1960, he has exhibited at well-known galleries in Europe, the United States and Japan. Fassianos is also known as a set and costume designer for productions of Ancient and modern theater. His unique world-view, wide-ranging knowledge and profound sense of humour make him a focus of abiding interest in the art world in general. He is a charismatic artist, and his many friendships have led to significant "joint ventures" with writers and poets. Fassianos is in great demand as an illustrator of books. Fassianos' work has attracted much critical and scholary interest in both the Greek and foreign art press, and has been the subject of numerous television and radio documentaries and interviews. el Gewicht in Gramm: 250 Original cloth with dust jacket.
