Sobre el Cantar de los Cantares, aborda las cuestiones de la interpretación, de la polisemia y la intertextualidad, y, como temas para la interpretación, considera el lugar, el amor recíproco y la alianza, el amplio uso de la imagen, el cuerpo elogiado, la intimidad, la tensión dramática manifestada en la ausencia y presencia de los enamorados, los principales actores y el poeta del Cantar. Respecto a Lamentaciones, se esbozan las cuestiones introductorias, como la trama, los conceptos del lamento y el pesar, la voz que habla en los poemas y la teología.
