The song, "Viens pres de moi" with lyrics by Aleksey Koltsov, has been translated into French by M.D. Calvocoressi. The title followed by the 3 pages of music and lyrics are reproduced from a holograph score onto 2 sheets of Carl Fischer music paper. All were originally likely penned in ink by a copyist. There are a few notations in pencil. The pages are slightly soiled with creases to the edges and some chips and tiny tears along the top and bottom edges of the leaves. Good. From the library of Louise Llewellyn Jarecka (1880-1954), concert singer & writer. The wife of the composer Tadeusz Jarecki. A student of Marcella Sembrich, Jarecka was invited by President Wilson to sing at the White House.
