The only evidence of handwriting found in the book is at the top of the front end page, where it is possible that something was written in pencil and then later erased. The book contains collected reprints, publications from the research Institute of Cutaneous Medicine, extracted from the American Journal of the Medical Sciences the American Journal of Syphilis.
