Internally very good bar sl.rubbing/nicking top corner t.p., covers however are browning around edges and have edge damage inc. chipped sp.ends, tears to to & outer edges fr. and sl.corner rubbing. Printed grey card covers, covers of this scarce series do seem to be rather fragile, perhaps because they were printed in Germany at a time when paper quality was poor. Gestalt psychologist Kurt Koffka was Director of the Smith College laboratory.

Zustand: Good/very Good. 1st Edition. paginated 119-175 at bottom, but differently at top.; internally clean, tight & unmarked, printrd green covers have incipient edge-browning (sp.quite brown) plus surface dustiness esp. on back, but are otherwise minimally worn with only sm.nick top sp. and some surface creasing to back bottom corner. This contains 4 papers on perception originally published in the main gestalt school journal Psychologische Forschung; authors are: Koffka & Alexander Mintz, Marthe Sturm, M.R.Harrower and Alexander Mintz respectively on colour and brightness thresholds, movement after-image, gamma-movement and 'the black-white problem'. The Smith College laboratory was under Koffka's direction. Scarce, but in effect a reprint from Psychologische Forschung Vol.13/14, hence pagination muddle.

Soft cover. Zustand: Good+. 1st Edition. 4 papers reprinted from leading Gestalt Psychology journal Psychologische Forschung Vol.16/17, paginated 305-444 at bottom but differently at top. These include Koffka on colour constancy, G.M.Heider on transparency of form & color, F.Heider on the brightness paradox and Harrower on higher mental processes. Internally quite good apart from some dustiness and corner curling to t.p.; printed green covers edge-browning, sp.ends quite chipped, some corner rubbing/creasing. Koffka was director of the Smith College laboratory. All the series appear to be scarce.
