Dort lauerten andersfarbige Oberflächen, denen durch Aufbrechen und Durchlöchern beizukommen war. Die Auflösung von Innen und Außen, deren Durchdringung sowie das sich daraus ergebende Spiel von Licht und Schatten standen fortan im Mittelpunkt. Mitte der 1980er-Jahre entdeckte die Künstlerin das intime Format für sich.
