(1) 1971 REVIEW OF OPERATIONS: colour illustrated wraps staple-bound at the top edge in landscape format 28x22cm. 32pp English and Arabic text with several colour photos, map, and charts. Near fine. In their Introduction, Managing Directors KR Henshaw and ML Ralston report on steady expansion, and emphasise the advancement of KOC's "Kuwaitisation Policy" with increased recruitment and training of skilled Kuwaitis. Progress is described with respect to operations, career development and training, manpower, safety, amenities and ownership. Photos include royal portrait, directors including representatives of the Kuwait Government, operations and installations, and labour force at work and leisure. (2) FACT SHEET 1971: self-wraps 18x21cm, 4pp English text with 2 colour maps and a chart. This presents a brief description of the concession, exploration, drilling, production, terminal loading facilities, refining, power and water, commercial relations, housing and amenities, medical care, and career development and training. One of the maps shows the concession area, and the areas KOC relinquished in 1967 and 1971. The other shows the destination of exports from Mina al Ahmadi.

No Binding. Zustand: Fair. Lithograph (276 × 379 mm), signed 'KOC'; some foxing, a few old water stains, corners slightly creased; ms. note 'given to W. D. Fane by Mr & Mrs G. Nevile Stubton 9 Nov. 1894. Marianne Humphrey (fl.18315) was a 'publisher of satires, the widow of George Humphrey [17701831, the nephew of Hannah Humphrey, Gillray's publisher] whose business she continued until her death' (BM Catalogue). After her death, the entire stock, including Gillray's original drawings, was put up for sale (June 1835). Provenance: George Nevile, former High Sheriff of Lincolnshire, had inherited Stubton Hall, near Newark, from Sir Robert and Amelia Heron. I presume W. D. Fane to be William Dashwood Fane (18161902), of Fulbeck Hall, not seven miles away from Stubton.
