Housed in the original brown publisher's solander box lettered in gilt. A desirable Folio Society limited edition of one of the central works of classical literature, in an attractive full-leather binding. CONDITION: Fine book in near-fine solander box. The book is clean, bright, and tight, with strong gilt and fresh-looking boards. Interior is clean and unmarked. Map endpapers and plates are well preserved. The top edge gilt is bright. The original solander/clamshell box is structurally sound, with very light wear near the spine foot and a small bump in lower right corner of the front cover, otherwise fine. Please see the pictures.
