Das Binder Jetting von Zahnrädern bietet bei ähnlicher Prozesskette die Möglichkeit, die Vorteile pulvermetallurgisch hergestellter Zahnräder in der Kleinserien- und Prototypenfertigung abzubilden. Mit dem additiven Fertigungsverfahren soll die Fertigung von Zahnrädern, welche sämtliche Anforderungen hinsichtlich Wirtschaftlichkeit, Qualität und Bauteilfestigkeit erfüllen, in Kleinserie prozesssicher und reproduzierbar ermöglicht werden.In dieser Arbeit wurde der Druckprozess beim Binder Jetting zur Fertigung von Zahnrädern mit hoher Zahnfußtragfähigkeit ausgelegt. Die Bewertung und Verifizierung erfolgte zum einen anhand der rissfreien Fertigung und Reproduzierbarkeit der mechanischen Eigenschaften, sowie zum anderen durch die resultierende Zahnfußtragfähigkeit. Erstmalig wurden Parameter des Binder Jetting Druckprozesses für die Zahnradfertigung in Kleinserie unter der Berücksichtigung resultierender mechanischer Eigenschaften abgeleitet. Die wissenschaftliche Auslegung der dem Druckprozess folgenden thermischen Prozesse war nicht Teil dieser Arbeit. Die generierten Ergebnisse wurden durch den Vergleich der Zahnfußtragfähigkeit von schmelzmetallurgisch, subtraktiv gefertigten Zahnrädern gleichen Werkstoffes und selber Geometrie eingeordnet. Die Zahnräder wurden hinsichtlich der Zahnfußtragfähigkeit im Zeit- und Dauerfestigkeitsbereich untersucht und eine Wöhlerlinie wurde ermittelt. Die für den Binder Jetting Prozess auf der verwendeten Maschine DM P2500 der Firma DIGITAL METAL AB zur Verarbeitung zertifizierten nichtrostenden Edelstähle 316L (X2CrNiMo17 12 2) und 17-4PH (X5CrN CuNb16-4) wurden berücksichtigt. Zudem wurde analysiert, inwieweit die Zahnfußtragfähigkeit von Binder Jetting Zahnrädern durch die Nutzung von Werkstoffproben ressourceneffizient abgeschätzt werden kann.Die Kenntnis der Wechselwirkungen der einzelnen Binder Jetting Prozessparameter im Pulver- und Binderauftrag sowie deren Auswirkungen auf die Eigenschaften des Grünteils und die nachgelagerten thermischen Prozesse erlaubt nun eine gezielte Auslegung des Druckprozesses zur Fertigung von Zahnrädern mit möglichst hoher Zahnfußtragfähigkeit.
