Archive of production material from the 1965 British film, including a Revised Draft screenplay, three original character design illustrations, and a hand drawn storyboard. A British newspaper offers a substantial prize to the winner of a cross-channel air race, bringing aviators from around the world to compete for the chance at victory, and grabbing the attentions of various women. A number of authentic airplanes from the 1900s were used during production, including a 1910 Deperdussin Monoplane and a 1912 Blackburn Monoplane. Set and shot on location in England, including at Book Airfield in Buckinghamshire. Fuchsia titled wrappers. Title page present, dated December 1963, noted as REVISED SCRIPT, with credits for director-screenwriter Ken Annakin and screenwriter Jack Davies. 181 leaves, with last page of text numbered 174. Multilith duplication on eye-rest green stock, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, lightly faded on the front wrapper, bound internally with two silver brads.
