Keene established that seven poems by Calpumius were of Neronian date, while the remaining four ascribed to the collection were, by reason of their differences in language and metrics, of later date (probably Severan) and by Nemesianus. This edition with its apparatus criticus and workmanlike annotation is reissued at a time when interest in Neronian literature and Neronian 'propaganda' is steadily increasing. / CONTENTS.
