B…ut through each story runs the fine thread of good will that rare spirit of Christmas Please find: Tree of Life by Keene Abbott. This small hard cover book (5 ¼ x 7 ½ inches 39 pages) was published by Doubleday Page & Company dated 1927 and an apparent First Edition thus with the same date on title and copyright pages. The book is bound in olive green boards with a black & white title label on the cover; it is protected by a printed paper dust jacket. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket has absorbed the wear & tear of the years and has the blemishes to show for it. There is some edge wear to the dust jacket including small chips at the spine tips. There are also some soiled stains front and back. The hard covers are generally clean with some faint bumping to the corners and spine tips. There are some small patches of discoloration to the finish of the front cover-barely noticeable. Inside there is a gift inscription on the front endpaper but those are the only marks in the book. The interior pages are clean and bright throughout without any toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
