Features short samples of six other songs including "Sittin' Thinkin'" by Dena Tempest and Howard Fisher, and "Beating Home" by John Scaife and Wilfrid Sanderson.

Presented to the Sette by the publisher John Lane, this work covers the instruments used, musical terms and expressions, and popular songs. Bound in quarter velvet. Externally excellent with slight fading to the spine and the odd minimal mark to the boards. Rear hinge tender, with the odd spot and minor age toning to the endpapers, and an ink inscription to the front. Internally frontispiece and a plate tender and binding strained and in places. Pages lightly age toned with the odd spot to the blanks only. The odd page unopened. Very Good Indeed. book.

38pp., 16mo. Internally in very good condition, in red paper boards printed in gilt, with bubbling at front and back, and in chipped and aged glassine wrapper. The number of the meeting has been added to the title in manuscript ('511'), and the signatures of 'Frederick Keel | Singer' and 'Walter Braithwaite' are written in pencil beneath the limitation (no 24 of 133 copies). Scarce.
