Smith, Helen Yuhasova, Herbert F. West, Henry C. Clark, P. M. Stone, and others. With a foreword by Vincent Starrett, it is one of the scarcer postwar Sherlockian publications and an important work for collectors of Sherlock Holmes scholarship. Provenance: From the Sherlock Holmes collection of Lawrence P. Dodge, assembled beginning in the early 1930s and acquired directly from Dodge descendants. Part of a long-held Sherlockian library containing early Doyle editions and classic works of Holmes scholarship. Contents clean and unmarked. Binding remains sound.
