Half brown calf with brown cloth boards and red page edges. Red gilt cross to upper. Five raised bands and compartments to spine, with red gilt title piece. Leather and boards are worn and rubbed. Tail of spine is torn and small section missing from top corner on upper. Ex library with a few stamps to end papers. Contents lovely and clean.

Spine with 5 raised bands and dark brown leather and gilt title: "The Christian Year". All page edges red. Marbled endpapers. Modern bookplate to verso of the front board: "Ex Libris Ken Paul" Small ink binder's stamp to top of front endpaper: "Bickers & Son, Leicester Sq. London". No other marks or ownership details.
