Die Adoleszenz ist eine Zeit intensiven Wachstums und intensiver Entwicklung, die mit Veränderungen der physiologischen Funktionen als Reaktion auf hormonelle Veränderungen einhergeht und auch als eine Zeit großen physischen, psychologischen, emotionalen und sozialen Stresses gilt. Die vorliegende Studie wurde durchgeführt, um die Ernährungsgewohnheiten und Snack-Praktiken von Herbergsbewohnern und deren Zusammenhang mit der täglichen Nahrungsaufnahme zu untersuchen. Sie wurde im Wohnheim des Govt. College for Women, Patiala, durchgeführt und umfasste eine Stichprobe von 125 Befragten. Die Mehrheit der Befragten (51%) waren Nicht-Vegetarier, 25% der Befragten waren reine Vegetarier und nur 24% der Befragten waren Eieresser. Mehr als die Hälfte der Befragten (59,2 %) stimmte zu, dass der Verzehr von Zwischenmahlzeiten Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit hat, und etwa 51,35 % der Befragten fühlten sich durch den Verzehr von Zwischenmahlzeiten entspannt. Die Mehrheit der Studenten gab an, dass wenige große Mahlzeiten ihre körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit beeinträchtigt haben.…
