The cover shows slight wear, but otherwise this is a very good, clean copy with no markings. -- (Excerpt:) Biography: Katerina Wilczynski was born in Poznan (Posen) in 1894 and educated in Berlin. From 1916 she studied at the Leipzig Academy for Graphic Arts, the Berlin School for Arts, and Crafts under Emil Orlic and the Academy of Fine Arts, Berlin under Hans Meid. In the 1920's she lived and worked in Berlin, contributing to several Art Reviews like Querschnitt Berlin and others. In 1930 she was awarded the Prix de Rome (Academia Tedesca, Villa Massimo). She was established in Rome until she settled in London in 1939. After the war she took up travelling, staying in Paris and Spain for study reasons. From 1952 on she frequently travelled to Greece.
