November 1918 den Matrosenaufstand in Cuxhaven und war anschließend Vorsitzender des dortigen Arbeiter- und Soldatenrats. Später war er Sekretär bei der Internationalen Roten Hilfe. Im Zuge der Stalinisierung der KPD opponierte er gegen die RGO-Politik und die Sozialfaschismusthese. 1929 wurde er aus der KPD ausgeschlossen und trat der KPO bei. Nach Ausschluss aus der KPO gehörte er der SAPD Bezirksleitung Berlin an. Im Dezember 1934 wurde er im ?Berliner SAPD-Prozess? zu zweieinhalb Jahren Gefängnis verurteilt. Nach 1945 gehörte er wieder der KPD und später der SED an. Im Zuge der Stalinisierung der SED wurde er kurzzeitig aus der Partei ausgeschlossen. Dank der Intervention des Parteivorsitzenden Wilhelm Pieck wurde der Ausschluss am 18. April 1952 rückgängig gemacht. - Rücken leicht geblichen, sonst guter Zustand. 400 gr.
