During my last meeting he was kind enough to inform me that he had penned poems numbering a couple of thousands though he has come into the must not all that long ago. This is to his credit. His perseverance ought to be acknowledged. Apparently there is a whole world of experience in him waiting to be given tongue. He brings out the words and comments that we involuntarily mumble incoherently in our hearts out to the broad daylight in a formed language. This art entails much courage for the risk taken. Of course there awaits much applause for his act of imagination which is bound to touch some hearts. Whether anyone assaying poems succeeds in evoking response from an individual here or a larger mass of readership there is in the lap of the Gods. The poet's best bet is not to think of the matter at all and only to single mindedly hear the mill of his mind and translate them into a brisk action forming thoughts and then words in clarity. If you as poet are content with this you are sufficiently rewarded. If any further manna falls your way take it with a wry smile and thankfulness. Mr Kar has all ingredients of every human in him in his inner life which may be alchemy into art. Perhaps he has done so already in this ample volume of verse.
