Minor shelf wear to bottom edge of rear board. Boards otherwise clean with no visible damage. Two spots of brown rectangular discoloration on front free endpaper; one near the top right corner and the other near the bottom right corner. Both measure 1 1/4 inch in length and 1/2 inch in width. Similar markings on rear free endpaper at top left corner and bottom left corner. Pages otherwise clean and unmarked with tight binding. Very Good condition. Signed by both Henry I. Shaw and Douglas T. Kane on the front free endpaper with a 3 line inscription made out to "Admiral Fort". Inscription is dated March 31st, 1964. Several maps attached to the rear endpaper . Included are the map of the Rabaul Strategic Area, New Georgia Group, Western New Britain, the Seizure and Defense of the Airdrome, Rabaul and Its Airfields, and a Pilot's Strip Map from New Georgia to New Ireland.
