This copy is inscribed by Dr. Kampmeier to Dr. William F. Petersen. Tipped-in is an ALS from Kampmeier to Petersen: "I am sending you one of my poems, entitled 'Curriculum Vitae'. You are the first one to get a copy." CV is part of his magnum opus, a long poem, "Madonna of the Rockies".
