A recipient of Padmashree award in 2000, Rajiv Gandhi Parti Bhoomi Award in 1997, Indira Priyadarshini Vriksha Mitra Award in 1987 and many more, Shri P R Mishra dedicated his entire life on people led rural development, inventing a mission of Chakriya Vikas. His single motto was to tell the governments that 'Land belongs to the people. Mother earth enables humans only to use it; government is only an enabler or promoter of people led development.
