Louis de Bonald obtient deux zéros pointés sur les deux premières colonnes, et 10 dans la dernière ; Bory de St Vincent, 10 et 5 ; Charles Nodier 0 et 3 ; Senancourt 0, 0 et 6 (pour les "Lettres d'un Habitant des Vosges"), etc. L'auteur anonyme, Jean-Antoine Lebrun-Tossa (1760-1837), girondin puis thermidorien, défenseur de la Convention, admirateur de l'Empire puis rallié aux Bourbons, revint vers Napoléon pendant les Cent Jours. Ffait extraordinaire, Lebrun-Tossa, qui ne voulait pas être reconnu à la publication des "Consciences littéraires d'a-présent", s'y traita encore plus mal que les autres ; cette précaution ne lui attira que les rires des moqueurs !
