Il voume presenta dieci anni di lavoro Fluxus, tra arte, musica, installazioni, video, performance e collaborazioni con altri artisti.La ricerca di Nam June Paik Paik spazia dalla musica alla performance fino alla videoarte, di cui è stato uno dei pionieri. Si forma a Tokyo in estetica, arte e musica e dopo la laurea prosegue gli studi in Europa, a Monaco di Baviera, Colonia e Friburgo. Tra il 1958 e il 1963 partecipa alle manifestazioni Fluxus a Düsseldorf ed entra in contatto con J. Cage, W. Vostell e G. Maciunas. Nel 1964 si trasferisce a New York e avvia la trentennale collaborazione con il violoncellista Charlotte Moormann. Paik si dimostra precursore nell'utilizzo di nuove tecnologie finalizzate a nuove possibilità espressive di modo che suono e immagine confluiscano l'uno nell'altro in una dimensione performativa.Nel 1993 è insignito del Leone d'Oro alla Biennale di Venezia. Coyote 3 è una performance dal vivo di Nam June Paik, su immagini e suoni preregistrati tratti dal leggendario concerto di Paik e Joseph Beuys del 1984. Tra gli ospiti, il coreografo Simone Forti e la vocalist Dina Emerson. La Emerson eseguirà Sentinel, una partitura dell'artista Fluxus, Larry Miller. Paik si esibirà al pianoforte e canterà anche canzoni che ?aveva scritto quando aveva 15 anni e che aveva tenuto segrete per 50 anni? SeOUL NYmAX 97 è una presentazione di Anthology Film Archives, The Korean Cultural Service & The Korea Society in associazione con Nam June Paik & Arthouse, inc.  Al fronte fotografie a colori. Coyote III è l'ultima collaborazione tra Paik e Beuys ed è una performance video del loro concerto tenutosi alla Sogetsu Hall in Giappone il 2 giugno 1984. Sul palco erano installati due pianoforti a coda, uno di fronte all'altro; dall'altra parte 'era la lavagna di Beuys piena di descrizioni. Beuys al microfono esprimeva alternando il suo ego da Coyote  quello da Artista, desideroso di vita e libertà, mentre Paik eseguiva, al pianoforte, musica pop giapponese con variazioni improvvisate.La performance video-opera di Paik Coyote 3 (1997), all'Anthology Film Archives di New York, presentava una sconcertante miscela di schermi televisivi multipli, luci laser e fumo.
