Jules Pascin [Julius Pincas] (1885-1930) Bulgarian-born American painter and printmaker know both for the wild parties in his Montmartre studio in the 1920s and his erotic studies of teenage girls. A printing of an unfinished novel by Heinrich Heine. With line illustrations by Jules Pascin, a Bulgarian born painter considered a key figure in the Modernist art movement of Paris in the early 1900s, who often painted prostitutes and models. He committed suicide in 1930. GOOD condition. Moderate to heavy browning to the covers. Minor soiling and faint dampstaining along the lower portion of the front cover. Paper chipped and scuffed along the hinges and extremities. Paper browned in the interior.
