Judi's husband, Gene, is an educator. They have a daughter, Gia, and son, Jared, and four grandchildren, as well as a daughter, Justine, who is in heaven. They foster parented troubled boys off and on and ended up adopting their son. They also raised a herd of show cattle and managed a ranch for sixteen years.
