Sept. 21, 1794 Adjt. Genl. Of PA") else good. Harmar served under George Washington and "Light-Horse" Henry Lee. Harmar's force of Federal troops and militia were badly defeated by a tribal coalition led by Little Turtle in an engagement known as "Harmar's Defeat", "The Battle of the Maumee", "The Battle of Kekionga", or "The Battle of the Miami Towns".
