John Jones (1796-1857) was known by the prefixed name 'Talysarn' (the village where he lived) to differentiate him from other people of the same name (John Jones being a very common name in Wales). He was a Welsh Calvanistic Methodist Minister and is considered to be one of the greatest preachers in the history of Wales. He had no formal education and only spoke the Welsh language, but he was a powerful speaker. He popularized a new style of preaching, emphasizing the practical rather than the doctrinal side of religion. Printed in the Welsh language - I don't believe this was ever printed in English.
